Mr. Rick Hubbard, age 55 of Ball Ground and native of Forsyth County, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2010. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, R. C. Hubbard; brother, Donnie Hubbard. Survivors include his wife, Sherri Hubbard of Ball Ground; mother, Emmie Hubbard of Cumming; children, Tonya and Timmy Henson of Cartersville; Kristie Strickland of Ball Ground; sisters, Barbara Pruitt of Cumming, Peggy Buice of Cumming; brothers, Cleon Hubbard of Cumming, David Hubbard of Cumming; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Christine Carney; grandchildren, Kristen Smith, Hunter Henson, Houston Henson, Taylor Butler, Kailey Strickland, Anslee Strickland; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Crossroads Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Blackburn, Rev. Dennis Bottoms, and Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. Interment will follow in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm.
