Alan Roger Fernandez

Alan Roger Fernandez, age 75, of Cumming, GA passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Alan was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Tony and Frances Fernandez. He was a loving husband of 45 years to his wife, Betty, father of four, and “papa” to six grandchildren. He was kind, caring, and his primary focus was always his family. Alan retired after thirty years in the corporate world. During his retirement years, he was known for doing home improvement projects for family and others and he was a World War II and sports car enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, David (Christa) Fernandez, Tina (Chad) Butcher, Katie (Johnny) Liu, Matt (Ashley Hightower) Fernandez; grandchildren, Caleb, Zoie, Gavin, Ellie, Alex, and Brody; sister, Anne Fazio; along with many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a late date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Wounded Warrior project.
