Alan Vere McCulloch

Mr. Alan Vere McCulloch, 64, died Thursday March 3rd, 2011 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, Georgia with his family at his side. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Gowen Mc Culloch. He was a Retired Veteran of the United States Army. He was a native of Glendale, California and lived in Savannah, Georgia for 32 years before moving to Canton, Georgia where he spent the last 3 years.

He was married to his loving wife for 35 years. He was a retired School Psychologist for the Chatham County Board of Education, retired Chief Warrant Officer CW-4 from the Army National Guard, a Veteran American hero helicopter pilot in The Vietnam War. He was a huge fan of sports, outdoors, the beach, football and fishing. He was a soon to be Grandfather.

He was a wonderful father to his son, Jason and (Tanya) Mc Culloch of Alpharetta, Georgia; daughter, Rachel and (David) Troop of Cumming, Georgia; brother, Ralph Mc Culloch of Auburn, CA; sister, Bonnie Pressey of Dana Point, CA.

Celebration of Life interment will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery, located in Canton, Georgia on Monday March 7th, 2011 at 1:00PM with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
