Alice Florence Summer

Alice Florence Summer, 74, of Cumming, Ga., died at her home March 26, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer. Alice was born Nov, 5, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Jefferson "Sig" Summer and Louise McKay Summer, and her brother, Henry David Summer.

She is survived by nephew Alan Francis Summer, cousins Alan McKay, Daron McKay, Karen House, Pamela Martin, Patricia Logan, Richard Long, Randy Long, and Rodney Long, and caregiver Callie Lamb.

Alice retired after a career working for the IRS. She loved animals and books and is remembered for her kindness and sense of humor.

Arrangements were handled by Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory in Cumming. No memorial service is planned at this time.
