Allan Cecil Herring

Allan Cecil Herring, age 60 of Cumming, Georgia died Sunday, April 20, 2014. He was born August 21, 1953. He was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church in Ocee, GA. He was a 1971 graduate of Forsyth County High School where he was a member of the Flash of Crimson Band. He was also involved in Boy Scouts. He was well known as a Custom Cabinet Builder. He loved to explore unique ventures in woodworking. He is preceded in death by his parents, C.B. Herring Jr. and Cleo Paris Herring; and sister-in-law Ann Spain Herring. He is survived by his brother, Barry Herring; sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Shannon Mize; Brother and sister-in- law, Randy and Terri Herring; nephews and nieces, Russell Herring, Barbie (Randy) Smith, Shan(Jamie) Mize, Alex Mize, Jason Herring, Kelly Herring, and Lauren(Joey)Phelps. He is also survived by his Uncle Melford and Martha Paris, his Aunt Myree Bland of N.C. many cousins, and his companion Faye Patterson. The family will have a private Memorial Service after which, his Cremains will be buried at Brookwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
