Amy Lou Shadrick Leach

Amy Lou Shadrick Leach, age 87, formerly of Rossville and Cumming passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 in a local hospital. She was born in Rossville, GA and later lived in Atlanta, Cumming and more recently in Lawrenceville, GA. She was a long time member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Rossville and Cumming, GA. Mrs. Leach was a career insurance agent and later a hospital volunteer at the Northside Hospital Forsyth. Mrs. Leach was an avid Atlanta Braves and Phil Neikro fan. She is preceded in death by her mother, Hattie Mae (Norton) Shadrick; father, Marshal F. Shadrick of Rossville, GA; and sister, Mary Sue (Shadrick) Puryear of Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Leach is survived by her son, Alan L. (Melissa) Leach and son, Harry G. (Dianne) Leach; sister, Frankie (Shadrick) Weaver of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; brother, Floyd M. (Carolyn) Shadrick of Chattanooga, TN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA on Wednesday August 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. Graveside services will be held Thursday August 22, 2013 at the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery, 724 Hogan Road, Rossville, GA at 11 a.m. with Rev. Barney Johns officiating. Heritage Funeral Homes will be in charge of the graveside services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O.
