Ann Nicholson Doyle

Ann Nicholson Doyle, age 84, of Cumming passed away at home Monday, August 8, 2016 surrounded by her family. An immensely giving and loving person, her service to this world will be missed; this legacy lives on in her children. Ann is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, John C. Doyle. Survivors include her children, Michael (Michele) Doyle of Alpharetta, Mary (Gregg) Smith of Marietta, Patty (Peter) Lyle of Norfolk, VA, Dan (Lisa) Doyle of Fairfax, VA, Tim (Rani) Doyle of Alexandria, VA, Terry (Anne-Marie) Doyle of Pompano Beach, FL, Jean (Wilson) Doyle of Hopatcong, NJ, Liz (Tom) Young of Thornton, CO; 16 grandchildren, 1 precious great grandchild; sister, Claire Spengler of Pittsburgh, PA; several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held Friday, August 12, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd with Fr. Frank Richardson as celebrant. A vigil will be observed Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the church. The family will receive friends after the vigil service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3740 Holtzclaw Rd., Cumming, GA 30041.
