Annette Dorothea Durie Garlick

Mrs. Annette Dorothea Durie Garlick, age 67, of Forsyth County, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010. She loved her family and relatives, and was a collector, conservator and curator of the family antiques dating to the 1700s. Her favorite pastime was researching and documenting her family history. She was also an avid bridge player and was active in several local clubs. Survivors include her husband, Bruce Garlick of Cumming; daughters, Claudia Garlick of Anderson, SC and Heather Grub of East Windsor, NJ; brothers, Dr. Vernon Durie of Cobleskill, NY, John Durie of Marietta and James Durie of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Lantana and Dahlia Grub. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 26, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Monday, July 26, 2010 from 10:00 am until 11:00 pm. Interment will be held in Westwood, New Jersey at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
