April Lynn Vernon

April Lynn Vernon, age 67, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2021. April was well known for walking all around Cumming for over 25 years and made many friends around town. She was well loved by the Cumming Community. She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lynn and Floy Vernon, sister, Vicki Vernon Cafferty, and brother, Gary Vernon.

She is survived by her sister, Laura Vernon Nybom; nephews, Scott Rueckel, Brian Cafferty, and Kevin Cafferty; uncles and aunt, Dr. Joe and Phillis Vernon, and Marcus Castleberry; along with several cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Interment will follow at Coal Mountain Cemetery in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. and briefly at graveside before graveside services.
