Ardell L. Bennett

Ardell Cain Bennett, 95 of Gainesville, GA passed away peacefully with family members by her side, Thursday, October 3, 2024.

Born in Dawson County, Mrs. Bennett lived in Forsyth County most of her life. She was the daughter of Gordon and Etta Cain of Dawsonville, GA.

Mrs. Bennett was her happiest when she was gardening and canning her delicious 

green beans! She was a loving wife, mother, and a great friend to all who knew her.

Mrs. Bennett was a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in

Gainesville, GA.

Mrs. Bennett is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 50 years

Ralph Bennett, her brothers, Charles Cain, Hubert Cain and sister and Fannie

Roland.

Survivors include her sons, Jack Bennett (Allene Lane), Oakwood, Sammy and

Myra Bennett, Gainesville, daughter Patricia Hubbard, Gainesville; sisters,

Estell Rogers, Cleveland; Allene Anderson, Crystal Springs, CO. Grandchildren

Tanya Petty, Gainesville, Jason Bennett, Gainesville; Angela Gunter, Dawsonville

Melissa Yarbrough, Cumming; James O'Dell (Nicole), Perry; Holly Williams

(Matthew), Wyncote, PA. Several great-grandchildren and many nieces and

nephews also survive.

Graveside service will be held Monday October 7, 2024, at 1PM at Pleasant

Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. A private family viewing will be held Monday

October 7, 2024, at 10 AM, at Ingram Funeral Home, Cumming. Rev. Jimmy

Hogan will officiate.
