Arleen Patricia Grimes

Arleen Patricia Grimes, age 64, Born in Bridgetown, Barbados on November 23, 1956, fell asleep in death on October 3rd, 2021, peacefully in her home. She immigrated to Brooklyn, New York in 1979 with her two children Alec and Cynthia (Lydia) Grimes and joined her husband Jeffrey Grimes. They have been married for 42 years with 7 children between them. Alec Grimes, Rondine Barker, Cynthia Grimes, Renee Ortega, Marsha Grimes, Daniel Grimes and Shanta Grimes. She is also the grandmother to Isaiah Grimes, Justin Barker, Brooklyn Fortner and London Fortner. She is also the aunt of countless nieces and nephews.

Arleen is one of eight children from her parents, the late Oswald Lloyd and the late Myott Carter. Her siblings are Eileen Coleman, the late David Carter, Jeffrey Carter, Sandra Smith, Anthony (Andy) Lloyd, Tyrone Lloyd and Kim Rutledge.

Arleen has been a faithful baptized Jehovah's Witness for over 45 years and with her faith intact, she looks forward to the promises our Grand Creator, Jehovah God has in store for her and mankind in the very near future.
Psalm 37: 9 says "But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth" and the promise of "pain and death" being eliminated found at Revelation 21:3,4 are the promises that Arleen will come to see when she is resurrected to perfect life where she and billions of people will live forever on earth - Psalm 37:29.

Known for her amazing cooking, kind loving demeanor, beautiful heart and superior strength, she will truly be missed by all that came to know her.
