Arlys Jean Strub

Arlys Jean Strub, age 57, of Alpharetta passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016. A native of Grundy Center, IA, then moving to Georgia in 1985. She enjoyed her career as a bus driver for the Fulton County schools and loved her children. Arlys loved walking, riding motorcycles throughout the country and being around her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Jeanette Flater and her brother, Arnold Flater. Survivors include her daughters, Nicole (Chris) Holcombe of Marietta, Valerie (Chad) Massey of Dawsonville; long-time friend, Jerry Mondoux of Cumming; grandchildren, Cayley and Elijah Massey, Mackenzie Holcombe; sister, Ardell (Marty) Sailer of Hinton, IA; a niece, Angie Kellogg and a nephew, Aaron Sailer, both of Sioux City, IA. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. A Celebration of Life will also be held at a later date in Iowa.
