Aubrey Julius King

Aubrey Julius King, age 90, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 2, 2023. Aubrey was born on June 13, 1932, to the late John and Bertie King in Roswell, Georgia. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, and his daughter, Susan McBrayer, in 2019. 

Aubrey was a resident of Cumming, Georgia and a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, where he served in the Korean War. He was a member of Bethelview United Methodist Church and an active Mason in Roswell, Georgia. Aubrey was a dedicated employee of General Motors for 44 years, from which he was retired. In his retirement Aubrey enjoyed bee keeping and bird watching. He was also skilled at building bird houses. 

Aubrey is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Becky King, granddaughter Blythe Jones and her husband Tim, grandson Wesley McBrayer and his wife Liz; along with his four great grandchildren, Jeremy Visgar, Cassie Jones, Graham Jones, and Charlotte McBrayer. He will be missed dearly.

A graveside service for Aubrey will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Sawnee View Gardens with Rev. Joseph Neal Parks officiating. The family will accept visitors on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 12:00 noon to 1:15 PM at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia.
