Audrey Mae Redd Gravitt, age 86, of Cumming, Ga., passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to bake pies and rolls for her friends and relative during the holidays. Mrs. Gravitt was a member of the Cumming First United Methodist Church for over 60 years, where she was in the Ladies Bible Class and the Myrtie Poole Circle. She also loved the Holbrook Camp Meeting and had attended it all of her life. Audrey is preceded in death by her loving husband James E. Tommy Gravitt. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Gravitt, Tim and Stacey Gravitt, Greg and Denise Gravitt; grandchildren, Collin, Shaw, Tory, Judd, Bryn, Whitney Gravitt, and Brandon Britain; brother and sisters-in-law, Daryl and Jean Redd, Marie Redd, and Polly Gravitt ; several other relatives also survive. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Cumming First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Cromartie and Rev. Ron Preuss officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cumming First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 770 Canton Hwy. Cumming Ga. 30040. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
