Barbara Ann Dalton

Barbara Ann (Storey) Dalton, age 72, of Cumming, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on June 25, 2016. Barbara was a very special woman who loved her family. She enjoyed a long career in accounting before a happy retirement. In addition to enjoying her grandchildren, she was an accomplished crafter who was active in her prayer blanket ministry and crocheting. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Genevieve Sobucki; brothers, John and Michael Sobucki; grandson, Joey Storey. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Jim Dalton of Cumming; children, Joseph Storey Jr. of Alpharetta, JoAnn (Chip) Van Alstyne of Cumming, James (Irene) Storey of Seattle, WA, Scott (Tish) Dalton of Williamson, GA, Andy (Robin) Dalton of Hampton, GA; sisters, Mary (Riley) Thompson of IL, Sue (Ken) Ward of IN, Betty (Rich) Jarecki of IL, Brenda (Wayne) Majkowski of IL; grandchildren, Grace Van Alstyne, Alex Van Alstyne, Genevieve Van Alstyne, Garrison Dalton, Julianna Dalton, Alexis Dalton, Tyler Dalton, Christopher Harrison, Chris Storey. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
