Mrs. Barbara Jean Turner, age 70 and a life long resident of Forsyth County passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009. She was a member of Haw Creek Baptist Church and a dedicated mother who worked hard her entire life at the family business. Her hobbies involved cheering on The Braves and Nascar Racing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anderson and Bertie Holtzclaw. Survivors include children, Deborah Gee of Cumming, Terry and Pam Turner of Dawsonville, Karen and Stephen Friedman of Scottsdale, AZ, Lorraine and John Lovell of Cleveland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Emma Lou and Maxie Hubbard of Athens; Betty Ann and Bill Grove of Laurel, MD and Nellie Gibson of Cumming; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Woody and Rev. Danny Ray Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Coal Mountain Church Cemetery in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 2nd from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, Nov. 3rd from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
