Barbara Jeanette Holbrooks

Barbara Jeanette Holbrooks, age 87, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021. She was born in 1933, to the late Howard Franklin and Alberta Fortner. Barbara used to attend Norcross Church of God in Norcross, GA. She enjoyed reading about the Amish and all kinds of history. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Gail Beard.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, John T. Holbrooks; children, Stephen (Mariela) Holbrooks, Melissa Holbrooks, and David (Misty) Holbrooks; grandchildren, John Holbrooks, Sumner Holbrooks, Joyce Holbrooks, Austin Holbrooks, Thomas Holbrooks,Holly Collins, Joe Collins, and J.J. Collins; great grandchildren, Jordan, Ian, Hailley, and Riley; brothers-in-law, Tony Holbrooks, and Jerry Holbrooks; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
