Barbara McKinley Chapman

Barbara McKinley Chapman, age 90, of Cumming, Georgia went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 22, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Chapman; parents, Luke and Laulie McKinley; daughter, Jenny Jones; great-granddaughter, Kinlee Lewis, and sister, Jean Jacobs.

She is survived by her brother, Jim McKinley; sons, Chuck and Bubba Jones; daughters-in-law, Beth Jones and Janice Jones; daughter, Judy Smith; grandchildren, Josh Jones, Matt Bragg, Erin Carlson, Mandy Bragg and Jenna Lewis; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Everett and Juliette Bragg, Ella Jones, Beckham and Graham Lewis, Payton Carlson and Ryder Rumfelt; and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara retired from a 25-year career at Southern Railway where she had many good friends. In their retirement, Barbara and Charlie enjoyed traveling, going to garage sales and entertaining their neighbors and friends. She was an excellent cook and loved blessing others with her southern cooking and cakes. Barbara and Charlie were longtime members of Castle Christian Church. While Barbara will be dearly missed by all who knew her, she would want everyone to know that she was more than prepared and eager to meet her Heavenly Father. She had run her race.

The family will notify loved ones in the future when a memorial service is scheduled.
