Barbara Hamby Turner

Barbara Hamby Turner, 77, of Cumming, GA passed away August 1, 2024. Barbara was born in Cumming, GA to the late Herman and Lucille Mills Hamby. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cumming, GA.She loved her family dearly and enjoyed vacations with them to Daytona Beach. She loved to watch the birds in her yard from the back porch, and was especially fond of her hummingbirds and blue birds.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Harold Turner; sons and daughter in-law, Greg and Karla Turner, Darron Turner; grandchildren, Kaitlin Turner, Hayden Turner; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Richard officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends Monday, August 5, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 11:00 am until service time at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040.
