Barry L. Mullinax

Barry L. Mullinax, 64, of Forsyth County, GA, passed peacefully in his home on July 15, 2017 surrounded by his immediate family.

Barry was a caring husband, loving father, honorable veteran, successful business man for over 30 years, a creative mind to his industry, strong rock for his family, devoted friend, but more importantly he was an irreplaceable mentor to all who knew him.

Barry is survived by his wife, Sheila Mullinax, son Brian Mullinax (Keith Leeman grand-daughter Madeleine Mullinax), daughter Lauren Mullinax, mother Catherine Mullinax, siblings Willie Mullinax, Wanda Delay Mullinax, Beverly (Lanny) Shadburn, and Reba (Bobby) Castleberry, father-in-law Wilson Williams, step-children Kelly (Christina) Holland , Cassie (Jason) Herrington, Corey (Hope) Holland, and preceded by his father Major Mullinax and mother-in-law Ernestine Williams.

Visitation and services will be held at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA on Monday, July 17, from 12 noon to 9 pm, Tuesday, July 18, from 9 am to 9 pm and Wednesday, July 19, from 9am tp 11am, with services at 11:00 a.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel followed by a service at Agricola Baptist Church and burial in Lucedale, MS on Friday July 21 from 10-12pm.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks you make a donation to the B.L. Mullinax Endowment at Lanier Technical College. Donations should be payable to Lanier Technical College Foundation referencing B.L. Mullinax Endowment, and mailed to Lanier Technical College Foundation, 2990 Landrum Education Drive, Oakwood, GA 30566.
