Barry Samples

Barry Samples, age 57, of Cumming, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011. Barry retired from Sawnee Electric after 28 years of service to the company. He is preceded in death by his father, Raibon Samples and his step father, James Holbrook. Survivors include his loving wife of 31years, Cindy Hamby Samples of Cumming; mother, Virginia Heard Holbrook of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Kelley and John Mullinax of Cumming; son and fianc, Matthew Samples and Margaret Elrod of Dawsonville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene and Marcelle Hamby of Cumming; grandchildren, Hunter and Landon Mullinax of Cumming, Bradley Elrod of Dawsonville, Little Matt Robertson of Dawsonville; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 25, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Garry English and Rev. Danny Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until hour of service at the funeral home. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
