We have gathered to celebrate the life Beatrice Darling, who was born September 30, 1925 to James and Ada Prince in Palatka, Florida. She transitioned to eternal life on Saturday August 3, 2013 at Northside Forsyth Hospital, and will be laid to rest at Sawnee View Gardens on Saturday, August 10, 2013. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 10, at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Beatrice was baptized at Northside Church of Christ and opened her heart to God and welcomed His spirit to dwell there eternally. She was a faithful member at Campus Church of Christ in Norcross, GA. Her favorite Bible passage came from the book of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me." Beatrice was educated in the Duval County School System and graduated from Stanton High School in Jacksonville, Florida. She entered into holy matrimony with Willy Darling and was a faithful wife and remained at his side until he was called home. From this union she had one daughter, Sandra, who has been devoted to the care of her mother for several years. Beatrice worked for the Duval County school board food services division for 30 years. She leaves behind to mourn cherished memories a loving daughter, Sandra Darling; her sister, Edna Maple, Jacksonville, Florida; a sister in law, Hattie Mae Robinson, Jacksonville, Florida and a host of caring nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
