Benny Moore

Benny Moore, age 79, of Cumming, GA, formerly of Alpharetta, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013. He worked at General Motors for 30 years. In his retirement he enjoyed his family, Nascar and walking in the woods. He was an active member and loved his Church family at Concord Baptist Church. Benny was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Bertha Moore. Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce Moore; children, Kenneth (Sandy) Moore, Deborah (Kenny) Dunlap, Andrea Oakes; grandchildren, Chris Moore, Kimberly May, Jaime Moore, Jennifer Ray, Jodi Dunlap, Jonathan Dunlap and Whitney Buice; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Emily (David) Castleberry; brother, Randall (Betty) Moore; and other loved ones and friends also survive. Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Gilbert and Rev. Shaun Wright officiating. Inurnment will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Concord Baptist Church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
