Berma Brooks Tate, 91, of Cumming passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022. A native of Forsyth County, Berma graduated from the Cumming High School in 1948. She lived for a number of years in Gwinnett County, moving to Dekalb County and finally returning home to Forsyth County. She loved to cook, especially sweets, often bringing cakes, pies and candy to family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Glendon Tate; sisters, Jacqueline Floyd, Jean Wheeler, and Wynona Pendley; and brothers, Edward and Wallis Brooks.

Survivors include her sisters, Katie Brooks Wallace and Gloria Brooks; brother and sister-in-law,Walter and Margaret Brooks; and a number of much-loved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 14, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service
