Bernice Pilcher Martin

Mrs. Bernice Pilcher Martin, age 81 of Cumming, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lane Martin; oldest son, Roger Lane Martin. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Paula Martin of Cumming; brothers, Joe Pilcher of Marietta, William Albert Pilcher of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Ethelene Pilcher of Cumming; granddaughters, Alexia Martin, Stacey Green, Courtney Bruley, Ashley Carter; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010, at 1:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sutton officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday from 11:00 am until hour of service. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the American Cancer Society, 250 Williams Street, NW, Atlanta, GA 30303. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
