Bettie L. Deal

On Saturday, January 02, 2021 Bettie L. Deal of Cumming, GA, loving wife, devoted Mother and Nana went to be with the lord and savior at the age of 91, with her two daughters by her side. Bettie was born on October 16, 1929 in Uniontown, PA to parents Ray and Reta Conn. On August 19, 1951 Bettie married Ray Deal, and they raised three children together, Cathy, David and Lyn. Bettie was the rock of her family and devoted her life to being the best wife, Mother and Grandmother. Her home and her heart were always open to all. She enjoyed country music, her family, and playing cards. Her quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, and love of laughter will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Bettie is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Deal; her son, David Deal; son-in-law, Larry Raughton; grandson, Jeff Raughton; her parents and siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Raughton; daughter and son-in- law, Lyn and Rip Jones; daughter-in-law, Leslie Deal; grandson and wife, Jason Jones and Jacqueline Cohen; granddaughter and husband, Nicole and Andrew Hubbard; granddaughter and fiancé, Amy Deal and Desmond Bawl; her sister, Mary Johnson, and sister-in-law and husband, Norma and Darrell Uphold. Due to the current pandemic, a private memorial service will be held for family on Wednesday, January 13, 2020 at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA.
