Betty Roberts Wallace Hyde

Betty Roberts Wallace Hyde left this world on Saturday, May 6 at the amazing age of 99 after a brief illness.

Betty was born February 7, 1924 to Jessie Roberts and Carl Wallace.  She married the love of her life Lamar Hyde and together they raised four children. 

Through the years Betty loved to collect antiques, travel, entertain and cook. She loved nothing more than being with her family and friends. 

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and her Sunday school class. She enjoyed hosting her bridge club and participating in the local garden club. 

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Lamar, a son Jackie, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by two sons Dennis Hyde (Connie), Craig Hyde (Vickie) and one daughter, Anna Hyde. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grand children.

A grave side service is scheduled for Monday, May 15 at 1 pm at Prospect Cemetery in Chamblee, GA officiated by Reverend David G. Bowen. Flowers may be sent to Ingram Funeral Home-Cumming or donations may be made in her memory to White Dog Farm, 402 Celie Ann Seabolt Rd, Cleveland, GA 30528.
