Betty Jane Cass

Betty Jane (Head) Cass, age 81, of Milton, died peacefully at home following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was a native Atlantan who loved to, sing, travel, garden and read. She is preceded in death by her parents Arvid William Head and Agnes Lillian (McDonald) Head, son James B. Cass, Jr., Rev. A. D. Cass and Lera Flake (Broughton) Cass. Survived by her husband of 64 years, James B. Cass, Sr., daughter Paula Denise Cass, granddaughter Megan Denise (Moore) Haralson, Skip Haralson (her husband), great-grandsons: Benjamin, Noah and Ezekiel Haralson. Also Betty Jane's brother William J. Head of Stone Mountain and sister, Carol (Head) White of Lubbock, TX.; sister in law, Kathleen (Cass) Carter of Dawsonville and many nieces and nephews. Family Visitation will be held at Ingram's Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. on November 2 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Memorial Service on November 3, 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in Alpharetta. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Alzheimer's Research. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
