Betty Jo Phyfe

Betty Jo Phyfe, age 92 of Cumming, passed away on August 2, 2024. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Betty worked as a caregiver for several years. She was member of South Hall Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Elmer Smith and Paul Phyfe; sons, Gerald and Terry Smith. 

 She is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Donald) Miller of Cleveland, Shelia Henderson of Cumming; sons, Anthony (Doris) Smith; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. 

 The family would like to thank Pruitt Nursing Home and Hospice for taking great care of her in the last year of her life. 

 Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 3:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Smith officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 4, 2024, between the hours of 11:00 AM and the time of service.
