Mrs. Betty Meredith Taylor 97 of Cumming went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday November 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born in Princeton, West Virginia. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Alpharetta. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Alma Duncan, husbands, Melvin Meredith Sr., William Taylor Sr., siblings, Gene Duncan, Bill Duncan, Helen Pritchett, Carole Collinson, Gayle Ammerman, daughter in laws, Vicki Meredith and Susan Meredith and son in law Pat Russell.
She was a loving Mother and Granny to the following, children, Sharon Russell (Khristine), Melvin Meredith Jr., Rhonda Stone (Randy), Kristi Kimbrell (Sam), grandchildren, Shane (Jessica), Jason (Cheryl), Shawn, Matthew (Stephanie), Erin (Jonathan), Drew, Jacob and Cody (Gina). 9 great grandchildren with another great granddaughter on the way as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Meredith Taylor will be Saturday November 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Kirby and Rev. Caleb Byrd officiating. Visitation will be Friday November 29, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ingram Funeral Home. The Grandsons will be Honored to serve as pallbearers.
