Billy Godfrey, age 62, of Cumming, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013He was a beloved husband, father, son and friend. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Godfrey. Survivors include loving wife, Stacy Godfrey of Cumming; his mother, Christine West of Clermont; children, Scott and Ashley Godfrey of Anniston, AL, Ray Godfrey of Ball Ground, Billy Cole Godfrey of Cumming, Chris Thompson of Ball Ground; Clint Thompson of White; James Fain of Cumming, Michelle Parker of Amarillo, TX, Donna Stutts of Hogansville; brother, Shawn Garin of Clermont; aunt, Bonnie Holloway of Dawsonville; uncle, Leonard Shoemake of Dawsonville; Grandchildren, 17 and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Richardson and Rev. Tony Estes officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from noon to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
