Billy Dwayne Pearson

Billy Dwayne Pearson, age 59, of Cumming, GA, passed away on August 6^th, 2023.  Billy was born at Kennestone Hospital on September 22, 1963.  He graduated from Cherokee High School in Canton, GA, in 1982.  He was an employee of Tyson Foods in Cumming, GA, for 37 years before retirement.  He passed away after a long illness.   Billy loved antique cars, especially corvettes, along with eagles and Harley Davidson Motorcycles.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Pearson and Ruth Swanson; sister, Janice Pearson. 

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Pearson; son, Jonathan Pearson; daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Chandler Wood; grandchildren, Lily Pearson, James Pearson, Memphis Wood; siblings, Paul (Debbie) Pearson, Pam (Horace) Flowers, Joan (Chuck) Watkins, Judy (Micheal) Lohman; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 9^th, at 1:00 PM, at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Douglasville, GA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 8^th, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
