Bobby Weldy, Jr.

Bobby Weldy, Jr., 69, of Dawsonville, GA passed away October 2, 2022. Mr. Weldy was born in Tampa, FL to the late Bob C. & Robbie Garner Weldy, Sr.

We are remembering and celebrating the life of our dad. He was the absolute most loving grandad and was always proud of his grandchildren. He often took his grandsons fishing and taught them the patience needed to catch the best ones. He loved getting to FaceTime his granddaughter in church all her travel adventures.

We often joked with him that he had 9 lives and was one of the luckiest people we’ve ever known. He lived life freely and in the most “dad” way ever. Avid fisher, generous and loving, fun and free-spirited; he will be missed, but we carry with us his fun-loving spirit, sense of humor, and kind heart.He was preceded in death by sisters, Carolyn Oakley, and Gail Mackler. Bobby is survived by his daughters and sons in-law, Amie and Christian Holmes, April and Andrew Oliver; grandchildren, Daigan, Emerson, Evelyn; sisters and brother in-law, Lynette Weldy, Marie Wood, Beth and Tony Delatorre; Cecilia Weldy; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, October 6, 2022 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Weldy officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory,
