Bobbie Elrod Cobb

Bobbie Elrod Cobb., age 95 of Cumming, formerly of Anderson and Greenwood, SC, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015. She was born May 12, 1919 in Hartwell, Georgia to Ezekiel Noah and Rosa Temple Elrod. She attended the Anderson Girls High School and was a faithful member of the Marshall Memorial Methodist Church both in Anderson, SC. She was a homemaker and a collector of antiques. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Romain Cobb. Survivors include her son, Douglas R. Cobb, wife Carol D. Cobb of Milton; grandchildren, John D. Cobb, wife Lori B. Cobb of Canton; Mark J. Cobb of Alpharetta; Kelly Cobb Drake, husband Jody A. Drake of Marietta; great grandchildren, Kyle D. Drake of Marietta, GA; son, J. Michael Cobb, wife Nancy Scott of Lawrenceville, NJ; grandchildren, Peter L. Scott, wife Larisa K. Semenuk of Yarmouth, Maine; great grandchildren, Emma Scott, Claire Scott of Yarmouth, Maine. Graveside services will be held at Oakbrook Memorial Park, Hodges, SC on Sunday, January 4th at 2:00 pm with Rev. Carl Hunsucker, Senior Pastor of the Saint Mark United Methodist Church, Greenwood, SC officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery 30 minutes prior to service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Marshall Memorial Church of Anderson, SC. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
