Bobby "Banjo" Blackburn

Bobby (Banjo) Blackburn, age 54, of Cumming, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013. Banjo loved blue grass music and having a good time with his friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carney and Genieve Blackburn and his grandson, Tyler Blackburn. Survivors include his children, Bobby (Michelle) Blackburn, Andy (Sara) Blackburn, Chris (Esta) Blackburn, Tasha (Ray) Davis; 9 grandchildren; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; girlfriend, Marie Rogers and many friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Ray Martin and Rev. David Chumley officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
