Bobby Gene Gilbert

Bobby Gene Gilbert, age 84, of Cumming, GA., passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Cleo Gilbert; wife, Fairy Sue Gilbert; son, Heath Gilbert; brother, Larry Gilbert; sister, Betty Edwards; grandchildren, Ryne and Haley Gilbert.

Survivors include, son and daughter in law, Tony and Kendra Gilbert; daughters, Melissa Chewning and Amanda Gilbert; brother and sister in law, Ben (Thelma) Gilbert; sisters, Bonnie Wright and Peggy Head; grandchildren, Jonathan (Jenn) Gilbert and their son, Thomas; Chelsea (Hunter) Dinsmore and their daughter, Hudson, Saxon Chewning and Kassidy Gilbert and several other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Pete Martin, Rev. Johnny Padgett, and Rev. Sammy Wright officiating. Interment in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
