Brenda Densmore

Brenda Densmore, 69, of Cumming, passed away on January 6, 2021. Affectionately known as Gran-Gran to those that knew her, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Brenda loved to read and crochet, but her true passion was being with her family. Her love for her children and grandchildren was evident in everything she did. She loved her friends and family unconditionally, and she never met a stranger. Brenda dedicated her life to loving and caring for her husband and children. Her greatest blessings were her grandchildren who brought so much joy to her life. If there ever was the perfect Gran-Gran, she was it. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.

Brenda was born to the late Grover and Grace Shirley on June 28, 1951. She married the love of her life, Guy Densmore, on March 4, 1978. Brenda is survived by her loving husband, her children Tabitha (Chadd) Jones of Cumming, Amber (Koby) Maxie of Ballground, Jimmy (Amy) Densmore of Dawsonville, Andy Densmore of Ellijay, sister Judy (Paul) Jackson of Dawsonville, and brother Michael (Christy) Shirley of Hiawassee. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren: Dustin, Eli, Journey, Madisyn, Cole, and Kamden. Brenda leaves behind other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with the Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 9:00am until 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
