Cameron Dickson Roe

Cameron Dickson Roe, age 60, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Northside Forsyth Hospital in Cumming, GA. He was born in Burlington, Ontario, Canada March 15, 1961.

Cameron is preceded in death by father, Murray Dickson and mother, Nancy Ray. Cameron is survived by his wife of 34 years, Denise Roe; his sons, Travis Roe and Camden Roe; brothers, Jeff (Sandi) Roe; Jim McDowell; sister-in-law, Dawn Reynolds; brother-in-law David Reynolds; nephew, Taylor Roe, and niece Lindsay Roe.

Cameron was a dedicated husband for 34 years. He was a very involved father that shared his children's passions for golf and flying planes. He shared his passion of law enforcement with his brother Jeff Roe.

Cameron had a distinguished 38 years in law enforcement. While at the City of Roswell Police Department, he worked many different assignments. The one he was most proud of was being invited by the FBI to work with the Innocent Images Task Force. He was the first state/local law enforcement assigned to the Atlanta Division. He worked as an investigator for the Task Force for 12 years to save children from online predators. He retired from the City of Roswell and was recruited to work as an Investigative Specialist for the FBI. After retirement from the City of Roswell, Cameron spent most of his time in his wood shop. He loved wood turning and had just started teaching wood carving classes.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 4, 2021, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Visitation Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene Fields officiating. A private Interment will be held later.
