Carlos Gene Pelham

Carlos Gene Pelham, age 58, of Cumming, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018. He was born in 1960, to Gene and Bertha Pelham. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. Carlos was a preacher, deacon and choir director. He loved to sing and minister. He was a master carpenter. Carlos used his skills of ministry and carpenter work to help build churches on mission trips in Guatemala and Peru. He will always be remembered for loving the Lord and his family. He is preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Pelham.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Judy Pelham; parents, Gene and Bertha Pelham; children, Cory (Amanda) Pelham and Annissa (Juston) Wyatt; grandchildren, Kelsey, Austin, Caden ,Avery Pelham and Bashie Wyatt; great grandchild, Colton; siblings, Ellen Cason, Michael Pelham, Wanda Digby, Ronda Kelly and Bobby Pelham; stepdaughter, Kathy Zakrzewski; grandchild, Nathan Zakrzewski; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Pelham will be held Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Gober and Rev. Larry Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
