Carol Ann (Cunningham) Thompson

Carol Ann (Cunningham) Thompson, 74, of Cumming GA, peacefully passed away on July 28, 2021 at home after battling multiple long illnesses. Born in Manchester CT on November 25, 1946 to the late Stella and Merlin Cunningham.

Carol is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard L Thompson, son Richard D Thompson both of Cumming GA, Brother Michael J. Cunningham and his long-time companion Elaine R. Crocker both of Manchester CT. Carol was a 1964 graduate of Manchester High School, attended St. Francis School of Nursing in Hartford CT, and Manchester Community College. Carol lived in many places including Meriden and Killingworth CT, Phoenix and Mesa AZ and Cumming GA. In the late 60's she was a Senior Customer Service Representative for the Southern New England Telephone Company where she travelled to many offices in CT assisting and training service representatives. In the early 80's she worked for the City of Meriden Board of Education and Hunter's Ambulance transporting handicap and developmentally disabled children. Carol kept a super spotless clean home, enjoyed cooking and gardening. Services are private.
