Carol May Anderson

Carol May Anderson age 50 of Cumming passed away Thursday October 29th, 2009. Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday November 3rd at Christ Fellowship Church in Dawsonville with Pastor Ricky Stepp officiating,followed by Interment at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday November 2nd from 3 PM until 9 PM at Byars Funeral Home. Carol was a member of Christ Fellowship Church and had a deep love for animals and gardening. She was involved in rescue of many animals which was her passion. Carol also worked with Humane Hearts League which is an organization that takes pets to visit the elderly in nursing homes. Horseback riding, planting flowers and visits to the beach and ocean also meant a lot to her. Her continued faith in the lord was a constant with her, even through her health issues.

Carol was preceded in death by her Parents Carl & Josephine Gerber. Survivors Include: Husband Jeff Anderson of Cumming, Sister & Brother-In-Law Carla and Stan Rutledge of Cumming, Sister Jean and Jesse Witmer of Hagerstown, Maryland, Sister Mary Jo and Jim Kalbfleisch of Williamsport, Maryland, Brother Rich and Virginia Gerber of Oklahoma, Brother Ron Gerber of Maryland.
