Carol Virginia Fry Guy

Carol Virginia Fry Guy, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was surrounded by her 5 children.

Her passing was preceded by her husband of 51 years, Robert Dean Guy, her parents, Clair and Maudie Fry, and her brother, Donald Fry.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Dani Sue and Patrick Boldus, Robin and Christopher Bish, Kristin and Lawrence Lynch, Jamey and Leslie Guy, and Stacy Guy Preece. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Janet Guy Munson, her sister-in-law, Carolyn Fry, nieces, nephews and her constant companion, her dog Winston.

Carol was born March 14, 1935, in Chicago, IL. The daughter of two artists, she appreciated all forms of art and was known to paint, sculpt, make stained glass pieces and refinish furniture over the years.

Being a mother was Carol's greatest joy and true purpose. Her kindness, generosity, warmth, compassion, and loving heart will be missed by her family and friends.

*Due to Covid restrictions the family is planning a celebration of her life sometime this spring.

In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
