Carole Stewart

Laura Carole Stewart, age 69, a lifelong Forsyth County resident, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018. Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Weldon and Monteze Stewart. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Debbie Stewart, nephew Travis Stewart, niece Hannah Stewart, grand nephew Cody Stewart and many cousins. Carole was a sweet, gentle and innocent sole who bravely had a good life despite many obstacles. Carole dearly loved her church, Pleasant View Baptist Church, the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Tech and Elvis Presley. Carole would wish to give thanks to her church family and to the staff at The Gardens of Shiloh Point assisted living for the love they showed her. She would also wish to thank cousins, Jo Anne McWhorter and Joyce Buffington, and sister-in-law and best friend, Debbie Stewart, for their love and help. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday, April 3rd at Ingrams Funeral Home. Caroles service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday at Pleasant View Baptist Church, with the reverends Richard Brown and Shad Faulkner officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church or a charity of your choice, if you desire.
