Carolyn Mathis Morris

Mrs. Carolyn Mathis Morris 87 of Dahlonega, Ga. Went home to be wither Lord and Savior October 18, 2024. Carolyn was born in Lindale, Ga. to her parents Julian and Bessie Smith Mathis, Mrs. Morris lived in the Gwinnett and Walton County area for over 60 years, Carolyn was of the Church of God faith and was a member of the Doraville Church of God. Carolyn retired from Schnee – Moorhead, Inc. as Office Manager with 35 years of service. Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by her husband Joe Dan Morris after 63 years of marriage and her parents Julian and Bessie Smith Mathis. 

Survivors include children, Kristi Love and Tanya Beaumont; siblings, Glenda Irving and Jim Mathis, grandchildren; Ashley Piner, Jarred Mullis, Weston Love, Chandler Love and Zachary Love, great granddaughter, Caroline Piner. 

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Carolyn Mathis Morris will be Monday, October 21, 2024, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the service hour on Monday. Mrs. Morris will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Georgia National Cemetery on Tuesday October 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
