Carolyn Ruth (Ruthie) McMullen Nardi went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, her dearly departed husband, Joseph (Joe) Frank Nardi, her parents, LeRoy and Jean McMullen, her niece, Sarah Lipscomb and son-in-law, Kevin King.
She is survived by her 2 beloved daughters, Lindsay Moses King and Susanne Grace Moses who were praying over her with The Lord's Prayer when she passed at 8:03 p.m. on December 3, 2020. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean McMullen Lipscomb, Susan McMullen, her stepson, Joseph Nardi, adored grandson, Johannes Moses, nephew, Anderson and nieces, Katie and Allison.
Ruthie was born November 13, 1950 in Knoxville, TN. A lifelong Episcopalian, she grew up in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Sandy Springs High School. She proceeded to pursue and graduate with a Special Education Degree from the University of Georgia where she was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. She taught Special Education and retired from the Marietta City School System where she was highly respected.
Ruthie was loved by so many because of her kind spirit, her sense of humor and unconditional love. Her daughters will forever cherish her memory and a piece of them is in Heaven with her.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, December 7, at 1:00 p.m. at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt. Vernon Highway, NW; Sandy Springs, GA 30028.
Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory, 210 Ingram Ave; Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
