Carolyn Stone McGinnis

Carolyn Stone McGinnis, 79, of Dawsonville, formerly of Cumming, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021. Carolyn worked for many years at Parsons and loved flowers, gardening and hummingbirds. She was a member of Bethelview United Methodist Church and is preceded in death by her husband, Morris McGinnis, brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Betty Stone; sister-in law, Marion Stone; and brothers-in-law, Alton Richards and Kenneth Samples.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Cherryl McGinnis; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Davis Scott; grandchildren, Thomas and Jessica Scott and Katelyn McGinnis; sisters, Bobbie Richards and Phyllis Samples; brothers, Glendal and Ellen Stone and Michael Stone; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who loved her so much.

Funeral services, for the immediate family, at the Sawnee View Gardens Mausoleum with Mr. A.J. Bennett officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions, in Carolyn's memory, may be made to the charity of one's choice.
