Carolyn Thompson Albritton

Carolyn Thompson Albritton, beloved wife and mother, passed away April 13, 2013 at the age of 84.

She was born June 21, 1928 in Columbia, SC to the late Hoyle T. and Pearle D. Thompson. She was a graduate of Dreher High School and The University of South Carolina. Carolyn was married to Bobby G. Albritton, USAF Retired, of Laurel, MS on June 6, 1956.

Carolyn retired from BellSouth Corporation in 1991 after 24 years of service. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and Peachtree Presbyterian Church, Atlanta, GA.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bobby G. Albritton of Cumming, GA; sons, Robert E. Albritton of Cumming, GA and John T. Albritton of Woodstock, GA; daughter, Vincie C. Albritton of Greenville, SC; and grandson, Travis Albritton of Cumming, GA. She is also survived by her sister Sandra T. Fontanella of Columbia, SC, and her brother John Thompson of Portland, OR.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arthritis Foundation.

A viewing service will be held Thursday, April 18 from 6-8 pm, Byars Funeral Home, Cumming, GA. Funeral Services will be held at Byars Funeral Home, Friday, April 19 at 10:00AM with burial following at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
