Catherine Cowart

Catherine Cowart, 76, of Cumming, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014. Catherine was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church in Cumming. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude Gravitt and Sybil Martin. Survivors include her husband of 17 years, James Cowart; children, Tony (Penny) Samples of Cumming, Judy (Todd) Holtzclaw of Cumming; 3 step children, Ricky (Peggy) Cowart of Cumming, Chris Croft of Cumming, Lisa (Keith) Kilby of Cumming; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; niece and nephew, Richard and Penny Couch and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Richard, Rev. Ricky Waters and Rev. Keith Kilby officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
