Cathrine C. Grindle

Cathrine C. Grindle, 73, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Cathrine was a longtime member of Salem Baptist Church and was supportive of her church family and community. She was retired after 30 years as a school teacher at Chestatee Elementary School. She enjoyed singing and watching football. Above all, Cathrine loved her family and was of good faith. 

Survivors include her children, Chris and Vicky Grindle, Kyle and Kim Grindle, Allison and Steven Smith; grandchildren, Cooper Grindle and Slade Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Wade and Vicki Castleberry; nephew, Justin and Julie Castleberry.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 9, at 3:00 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Clark Watson, Rev. Shad Faulkner, Rev. Sam Castleberry and Rev. Taylor Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
