Cecil David Bennett

Cecil David Bennett, 88, of Cumming passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Omateen Bennett, grandsons, Justin Swaney, Gregory Fields and granddaughter, Carla Fields and 5 siblings.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Peggy and Bill Swaney of Canton, David Bennett of Ball Ground, Rita and Danny Grindle of Cumming, Joan and Scott Roberts of Dawsonville, Jim and Penny Bennett of Ball Ground; sisters, Imogene Barrett of Cumming, Verlene Grier of Cumming, Martha Turner of Canton; brother Winford Bennett of Dawsonville; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 6, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
